Payroll and Accounts Officer – Family Drug Support
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Faulconbridge, NSW
FDS is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll and Accounts Officer to join our Head Office team in Faulconbridge, NSW. This full-time position plays a vital role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation and works closely with the CEO and Business Manager.
This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in bookkeeping or financial administration, who thrives in a team environment and is capable of working independently.
Responsibilities:
- Process fortnightly payroll, including superannuation contributions
- Respond to employee payroll-related queries
- Prepare and reconcile accounts
- Process invoices and expense claims
- Monitor debtor and creditor accounts and follow up where required
- Assist with BAS, IAS, and liaise with external accounting providers
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Support management with financial reporting and related queries
- Undertake other finance-related duties as required
Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping or a related role
- Excellent knowledge of MYOB and Xero accounting software
- Sound knowledge of BAS, payroll and Australian taxation requirements
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- High level attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Remuneration
Remuneration is in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Level 4, commensurate with skills and experience. Superannuation and salary packaging options are available. A mobile phone will be provided for business use.
